KSYS Earns Korea’s First Certification for Excellent and Inn…
Since its establishment in 2004, KSYS (CEO Byungmin Cheon) has led the LED display public procurement market for over 21 years through continuous R&D, solidifying its position as a leading LED display manufacturer.
The company recently relocated to its newly built headquarters, The K-Tower, a six-story building equipped with dedicated logistics space.
This facility integrates manufacturing, logistics, showroom, office, and R&D functions into one innovative business environment.
Additionally, with branches in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gwangju, and Jeju—beyond its Busan base—KSYS has established a nationwide infrastructure for delivering integrated solutions.
KSYS’s flagship product is a high-efficiency LED display equipped with proprietary standby power reduction technology.
It was the first in Korea to be designated as an Innovative Product in the Public Procurement Service’s guidance display category.
Building on this, KSYS achieved the top ranking in contracts and deliveries for indoor LED displays in 2022 and 2023.
In recognition of its contributions to the ICT industry and supply of outstanding products, the company received a commendation from the Commissioner of the Public Procurement Service in February as an excellent procurement supplier.
The core technology of KSYS’s high-efficiency LED display is the “integrated hub board.” Installed within the LED display, this board integrates power and video signal patterns onto the PCB, eliminating the need for complex cabling.
The board independently transmits data and controls power, and features built-in energy-saving technology.
It detects whether a video signal is present (e.g., during a blackout) and controls signal flow, thereby significantly reducing standby power consumption.
This eco-friendly innovation contributes to carbon neutrality and reduces energy usage by an average of 72%, helping public institutions cut unnecessary costs and meet sustainability goals.
The display also features a front-open slot type, allowing LED modules to be easily detached and attached from the front for rapid installation and maintenance.
In addition to this innovation, KSYS holds over 130 certifications, awards, and patents—including GS Grade 1 certification, Green Certification, Environmental Label Certification, and designation as an Innovative & Leading Enterprise in Industrial Convergence.
As a certified manufacturer of display devices, KSYS independently designs, produces, installs, and maintains LED displays—establishing itself as a true LED display specialist.
Moreover, as the official Korean distributor of global controller manufacturer Novastar, KSYS provides integrated LED display solutions that meet international standards.
Following the development of its standby power-saving technology, KSYS is now focused on ESG-oriented R&D with the development of attachable optical lenses that further reduce power consumption.
When combined, these two technologies are expected to reduce standby power by 72% and operating power by more than 30%, boosting the product’s competitiveness as an eco-friendly solution.
The power-saving technology is supported by patented optical and manufacturing processes, including the "asymmetrical tilting light distribution reflector array unit for LED display arrays."
The company aims to validate this through certification testing and performance approval to advance into public procurement as an innovative and excellent product.
A KSYS spokesperson stated, “As a leading company in the LED display industry, KSYS is committed to advancing LED display technology and building trust with clients in the public procurement market.”
They added, “We will continue to establish ourselves as a public procurement innovation company contributing to the advancement of Korea’s industrial technology.”
