Chun Byung-min, CEO of K-Sys Co., Ltd., announced that he has received the “27th KOITA Technology Management Award” from the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA).
The “2nd Technology Developers’ Day,” held on the 25th at LG Science Park in Magok, Seoul, was an event hosted by KOITA and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, during which the KOITA Technology Management Award ceremony was held. Since 1997, KOITA has been presenting the Technology Management Award to technology managers who have contributed to the development of industrial technology and the creation of a culture of technological innovation in South Korea.
At the “27th KITA Technology Management Award” ceremony, CEO Cheon Byung-min was recognized as a professional manager leading power-saving initiatives and technological development in the LED display sector, earning him the award in the CEO category.
Chun Byung-min, CEO of K-Sys, was recognized for his contribution to national energy conservation policies through the development of “high-efficiency LED display panels” that implement standby power reduction technology based on video signal detection and power control.
He also received high praise for his contributions to the development of green technology products through the development of an integrated hub board, which enabled the localization of LED display products, process optimization, improved cost-effectiveness, energy savings, and the establishment of a carbon-neutral strategy.
CEO Cheon Byung-min stated, “Based on our in-house research institute, K-Sys has achieved technological innovation in the LED display sector through continuous investment in research and development (R&D),” adding, “We will continue to contribute to the advancement of South Korea’s industrial technology by further refining our superior LED display technologies.”
Meanwhile, K-Sys Co., Ltd., with 20 years of experience, has been designated as a “Excellent Product” and “Innovative Product” by the Public Procurement Service. As the official Korean distributor of NovaStar, a global controller manufacturer, the company provides “integrated LED display solution services” that meet global standards to the domestic market.
