KSYS, a specialized LED display manufacturer, announced on the 25th that it successfully participated in InfoComm 2026, recently held in Las Vegas, United States, confirming its compliance with the U.S. Trade Agreements Act (TAA) requirements and its potential to enter the U.S. federal government procurement market.
The Trade Agreements Act (TAA) is a key product requirement that must be met in order to supply products to the U.S. federal government. In particular, as the U.S. government continues to exclude Chinese-made products from procurement channels, TAA compliance emerged as one of the most significant topics at this year’s InfoComm. Beyond the U.S. government procurement market, global big tech companies such as Google, Amazon, and Microsoft are also showing a growing preference for TAA-compliant products to ensure supply chain stability.
While China currently dominates the global LED display market, Korea and Taiwan are considered the most promising alternatives capable of replacing Chinese products in the U.S. market while meeting TAA requirements. However, only a limited number of companies in Korea and Taiwan possess both large-scale manufacturing infrastructure and systematic quality management capabilities.
Among small and medium-sized enterprises in Korea, KSYS is the only company that simultaneously possesses its own LED display manufacturing facilities, public procurement track record, and research and development capabilities.
Following its participation in InfoComm 2026, KSYS plans to actively pursue entry into the U.S. government procurement market, expand partnerships across North America, and build a global distribution network. The company has also completed its application and booth contract for InfoComm 2027, which will be held in Orlando, Florida next year. In addition, KSYS plans to utilize its integrated headquarters, factory, and R&D center currently being established in the Busan Eco Delta City Industrial Complex as a core infrastructure for responding to TAA-related demand.
KSYS independently carries out the entire process from LED display research and development to manufacturing, quality control, installation, and maintenance. This differentiates the company from most domestic LED display companies, which are primarily based on China-centered manufacturing, distribution, and system integration models.
KSYS’ flagship LED display products have been designated as both Excellent Products and Innovative Products by Korea’s Public Procurement Service. The company has also ranked first in the number of public LED display procurement contracts in Korea for three consecutive years, demonstrating both technological competitiveness and marketability. KSYS aims to achieve KRW 50 billion in revenue by 2027 and KRW 100 billion by 2030, positioning itself as a global specialist in LED display solutions.
“Global market competitiveness is determined not by price alone, but by manufacturing reliability, supply chain stability, and quality management capabilities,” said Chun Beoung Min, CEO of KSYS. “We will continue to strengthen our product competitiveness in line with the standards and requirements of the U.S. government and global big tech companies, while expanding our market share in the United States and the global market.”
Meanwhile, InfoComm is the world’s largest AV and digital display exhibition, bringing together companies specializing in audio-visual technologies, digital signage, LED displays, broadcasting equipment, and AI solutions. Often referred to as “the CES of the AV industry,” the exhibition attracts tens of thousands of buyers each year, including representatives from U.S. federal government agencies, educational institutions, the defense procurement sector, and purchasing departments of global enterprises. A total of nine Korean companies participated in this year’s event, including LG Electronics and KSYS, both of which directly manufacture LED displays.
