K-Sys Successfully Concludes KOBA 2025… Demonstrating the Competitiveness of ‘Made in Korea’ LED Displays

K-Sys (CEO: Cheon Byung-min), a company specializing in LED display panels, successfully concluded the 33rd International Broadcasting, Media, Audio, and Lighting Exhibition, “KOBA 2025,” held at COEX in Seoul from May 20 to 23.

With a staggering 42,656 visitors attending the exhibition, K-Sys highlighted the technological prowess of its “Made in Korea” LED display screens, showcasing the overwhelming competitiveness of domestically manufactured LED displays.

On the opening day, CEO Cheon Byung-min, having been invited by the KOBA Secretariat, personally participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the start of the event. Also in attendance were Chairwoman Choi Min-hee of the National Assembly’s Science, ICT, Broadcasting, and Communications Committee, along with Committee members Rep. Kim Hyun, Rep. Choi Hyung-doo, and Rep. Lee Hoon-ki, Special Committee Chair of the Democratic Party of Korea’s Broadcasting and Content Special Committee Chair Lee Hun-ki, Director Ryu Je-myeong of the Network Policy Bureau at the Ministry of Science and ICT, Korean Broadcasting Association Chairman Bang Moon-shin, KBS President Park Jang-beom, MBC President Ahn Hyung-jun, EBS President Kim Yu-yeol, OBS Gyeongin TV President Kim Hak-kyun, and Korea Communications Commission President Lee Sang-hoon, personally introducing the company’s products to visitors and emphasizing the technological prowess and in-house production capabilities of South Korea’s LED display industry.

At the exhibition booth, six sets of super-large LED display panels—featuring K-SIS’s COB and SMD technologies—were displayed in combination with media art. K-SIS also unveiled its new products, including the “Interior Display Panel,” “Double-Sided COB Display Panel,” and “0.9-pitch COB TV,” for the first time, capturing the attention of visitors.

Additionally, the latest products from NovaStar, the global market leader in LED controllers, were also introduced at the exhibition. As NovaStar’s official distributor in Korea, K-Sys solidified its position as a “total LED display solutions provider” by conducting live demonstrations of NovaStar’s new VX PRO series controllers, TU4K, and the KOMPASS media server solution.

CEO Cheon Byung-min stated, “Through our participation in KOBA 2025, we were able to clearly demonstrate to industry professionals and customers the LED displays we produced directly using domestic technology,” adding, “We will also open our own booth at ‘InfoComm(InfoComm 2025),” and added, “We will focus on showcasing Korea’s LED display technology.”

Building on the success of KOBA 2025, K-Sys plans to further elevate the status of ‘domestically produced LED display panels’ through both domestic and global exhibitions.
