K-Sys (CEO: Cheon Byung-min), a company specializing in LED display boards, received the Prime Minister’s Commendation at the “2025 Busan SME Awards” held at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Busan on the 27th.
Organized by the Korea Federation of SMEs and attended by representatives from Busan Metropolitan City and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the event was held with approximately 300 key figures from Busan City, related agencies, and economic organizations in attendance. During the event, a total of approximately 70 government awards, including the Dongtap Order of Industrial Service Merit, the Industrial Service Medal, the Presidential Commendation, the Prime Minister’s Commendation, and the Busan Mayor’s Commendation, were presented to encourage companies and individuals who have contributed to the development of the local economy and industry.
K-Sys received this Prime Minister’s Commendation in recognition of its localization of LED display panels based on domestic smart automated factories, innovation in the government procurement market, and technological advancement through consistent research and development. K-Sys is the first company in Korea to be designated as a “Excellent Product” and “Innovative Product” in the Public Procurement Service’s information display category, and has recently ranked first for three consecutive years in the Public Procurement Service’s , and has consistently ranked first in the number of contracts, deliveries, and installations in the LED display sector, earning high trust in both the public and private markets.
Furthermore, with its headquarters in Busan and five branch offices nationwide—including Seoul, Daejeon, Gwangju, and Jeju—the company possesses a distinct competitive edge in LED display quality and after-sales service through its in-house installation and maintenance operations. Along with the operation of a smart automated factory capable of producing over 150,000 domestically manufactured LED modules annually, the company is accelerating its expansion into overseas markets by establishing a U.S. branch office this year.
