K-Sys Co., Ltd. (CEO Cheon Byung-min), a company specializing in digital signage, announced on the 2nd that it has received high praise from the Gyeonggi Provincial Government for installing a large LED display in the “Disaster and Safety Situation Room” of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government’s new Gwanggyo building.
K-Sys Co., Ltd., a specialist in LED display panels designated as Korea’s first innovative product in the field of information display panels, has installed a large-scale, ultra-high-definition (UHD) indoor LED screen within the Disaster Situation Room of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government’s new building to operate the province’s situation monitoring system. The LED display panels installed by K-Sys in the Gyeonggi Provincial Government’s Situation Room are located throughout the Disaster Situation Room in the new building, covering “two situation rooms and two video conference rooms.” The largest panel measures 10,080 mm in width and 2,160 mm in height, boasting an impressive size and resolution. It is expected that the Gyeonggi Provincial Government will be able to conduct clearer disaster monitoring and situation control through these ultra-high-definition LED displays, enabling a swift response to various disaster situations.
Gyeonggi Province recently officially relocated its headquarters from Suwon to Gwanggyo and established the Disaster Safety Situation Room in conjunction with the move. The Disaster Situation Room in the new building spans 723 square meters—3.8 times larger than the previous facility—and the number of workstations has been expanded from 43 to 130. It is divided into Control Room 1 and Control Room 2, with each room further subdivided into a control area and a video conference room. In particular, a control system based on LED display panels has been established to enhance the disaster response framework. The new Disaster Control Center is scheduled to begin official operations on May 15, coinciding with the summer natural disaster preparedness period.
