All-in-one hub board integrated product draws attention;
power control reduces standby power

consumption by 72%; front-access design ensures excellent installation, maintenance, and
repair; self-adjustment and calibration enhance expressiveness; designated as an “Excellent

Product” and “Innovative Product” by
the Public Procurement Service; government-recommended LED display for public procurement.

“LED displays” deliver crisp image quality and diverse content.

LED display boards can convey powerful messages in a short amount of time and offer excellent visibility that can be seen even from a distance. Recently, LED display boards that maximize convenience in installation and maintenance while reducing power consumption have been gaining attention.

K-Sys (CEO Cheon Byung-min), a company specializing in LED display boards, has adopted a design that minimizes the number of cables required to transmit video data and other information for its “Integrated Hub Board LED Display.”

Specifically, the hub board itself is designed with lines that function as cables, making it a “cable-free LED display” capable of controlling data and power using only the hub board, without the need to connect numerous cables.

Regarding the development of this product, CEO Cheon Byung-min explained, “While this isn’t a major issue for small LED display boards, the number of cables increases proportionally with the size of large LED display boards.” He added, “In such cases, cables can become tangled or short-circuited, leading to frequent degradation in video quality and malfunctions, which ultimately results in reduced functionality of the LED display board.”

K-Sys’s ‘Redot Cube’ series, a brand of LED display panels with an integrated hub board, consists of LED modules, a hub board, a receiving card, a switching power supply (SMPS), and a cabinet.

The “hub board,” the core of the technology, consists of a video interface, power interface, video presence detection, control signal generation, video control unit, and power control unit.

In particular, the hub board is equipped with standby power reduction technology, enabling self-powered energy savings in addition to minimizing cables.

CEO Cheon emphasized, “The power-saving technology applied to the hub board provides an average standby power reduction of 72% compared to existing products,” adding, “It is no exaggeration to say that this is the fruit of our R&D efforts aimed at energy conservation and environmental protection.”

Furthermore, the combination of the LED display’s built-in image correction technology (HDR) and calibration work by a team of professional engineers ensures ultra-high-definition screen performance.

Furthermore, the Redot Cube series is gaining recognition as a “slot-type” display with a front-accessible design. Its

slot-type, magnetic design allows for the attachment and removal of modules from the front, enabling rapid installation and maintenance, while the sealed rear design ensures excellent product protection. Furthermore, thanks to the front-access design and reduced cabling, the product boasts a slim profile and requires no rear clearance, making it easy to install in tight spaces. Among

the brand’s lineup, the ‘Redot Cube Pro’ is the most suitable display product for replacing LCD video walls previously installed in control rooms and command centers.

CEO Cheon explained, “When replacing a video wall with standard LED displays after interior finishing is complete, full demolition and reconstruction are required, resulting in significant time and cost.” He added, “However, the Redot Cube Pro’s 27.5-inch cabinets allow for the simple replacement of the 110-inch video wall with LED displays while maintaining the existing installation environment, leading to significant savings in both time and cost.”

Meanwhile, K-Sys is enhancing its external credibility based on its technological capabilities. Following its designation as an “Innovative Product” by the Public Procurement Service in December of last year

, the company was selected as an “Excellent Product” by the same agency in August of this year. In addition, the company holds over 100 awards, certifications, and patents, including performance certifications, green certifications, environmental certifications, designations as industrial convergence innovation items, and excellent inventions.

Regarding this, CEO Cheon stated, “Thanks to the Public Procurement Service’s designations as an ‘Excellent Product’ and an ‘Innovative Product,’ K-Sys products are eligible for direct contracts without financial limits and receive broad policy support, including buyer indemnity privileges, making them specialized LED display boards for public procurement.”
