K-Sys (CEO Cheon Byung-min) announced on the 16th that the number of stores installing its premium LED display 'LEDot,' launched last June, has recently surpassed 30.
K-Sys’s ‘LEDot’ lineup consists of two types: ‘Digital LED Signs’ and ‘LED Banners.’ The digital LED sign has a brightness of 7,000 nits, making it more than 10 times brighter than comparable LCD signs. Combining 5mm micro-pixels with a high refresh rate of 2,000 Hz, it displays desired content clearly in high definition. It features the latest LED components, a black mask around the panel, and waterproofing, making it suitable for outdoor use.
The LED banner is a portable LED sign measuring 190 cm in height, 57 cm in width, and 3.5 cm in thickness. It can be used individually or combined with two or more units to function as a large-scale display. It features a thin-film, high-brightness display panel with a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees, ensuring excellent visibility from any angle. Another advantage is the ability to update content via a USB flash drive and to remotely control and manage the display using a smartphone.
Digital LED signs have been installed primarily in academies, cafes, and flower shops, while LED banners have been supplied to exhibition halls such as COEX and KINTEX, as well as department stores. Recently, the company signed a contract with Samsung Electronics to become an “Official Samsung Electronics Product,” and is now supplying Redot to approximately 400 Samsung Electronics B2B dealers nationwide. The company is also in negotiations with franchise operators of convenience stores and supermarkets for bulk supply contracts ranging from 50 to 100 units. It is also pursuing registration as a government procurement item.

CEO Cheon Byung-min stated, “While there are countless offline advertising tools such as flyers, freestanding signs, and bus or subway banners, their effectiveness is questionable.” He added, “This is an innovative product that can maximize the advertising and marketing impact for small-scale stores, and it is also useful for displaying video content in department stores, exhibition halls, and museums.”
