K-Sys (CEO Cheon Byung-min), a company specializing in LED display boards, announced that on August 13, Shin Bong-jae, Director of the Busan Regional Public Procurement Service, visited the company’s smart automated factory to tour the production facilities and listen to concerns regarding the procurement market.

This visit was organized as part of the “Regulatory Reset” policy, a key initiative being promoted by the Procurement Service, to verify the validity of regulations related to public procurement through on-site visits and to strengthen communication with manufacturers of excellent procurement products.

K-Sys provided Busan Regional Procurement Service officials with a detailed introduction to the entire LED display manufacturing process. The company demonstrated the entire production process—including SMT production based on smart automation equipment, outdoor coating, assembly, and aging—to highlight the quality competitiveness of “Made in Korea” displays.

In addition, K-Sys shared its major business plans, including facility expansion, increased hiring of specialized engineers, and relocation to a new factory site, all in response to recent increases in production volume. Furthermore, the company expressed its commitment to actively pursuing the expansion of overseas exports in cooperation with the Procurement Service, leveraging the competitiveness it has built in the domestic procurement market.

Shin Bong-jae, Director of the Busan Public Procurement Service, stated, “We will actively support excellent procurement products, recognized for their technological prowess and superior quality, to ensure their sustainable growth based on the public procurement market,” and urged the company to “pay special attention to the safety management of on-site workers.”

K-SIS plans to use this visit as an opportunity to strengthen its cooperative relationship with the Public Procurement Service and, moving forward, will continue to advance its “domestically produced” LED display technology to enhance its competitiveness in the public procurement market.
