Memorandum of Understanding with Media Art Platform Bido
Creating Synergy in the LED Display Market
K-Sys, a company specializing in LED displays, is joining forces with a media art company to revitalize the high-value-added LED display market.
K-Sys (CEO Cheon Byung-min) announced on the 19th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bido (CEO Shim Sang-hoon), the operator of Korea’s largest subscription-based media art platform, to collaborate on media art business initiatives. The goal is to revitalize the next-generation LED display industry
by integrating Bido’s premium media art content with K-Sys’s high-definition LED displays, and to lead the related public procurement and high-end markets.
K-Sys and Bido will showcase high-resolution media art at the “2026 Korea National Marketplace Expo” to be held at KINTEX in Ilsan on March 25. A massive high-definition LED display will be installed at the K-Sys booth (Hall 1, J53), featuring immersive media art content by Bido’s artists to provide visitors with a unique experience.
The two companies also plan to launch a "subscription-based media art product exclusively for public procurement" within the year, designed to significantly reduce the burden of video content production for local governments and public agencies. This product allows users to maximize the utilization of LED display screens by subscribing to or renting Bido’s media art content, eliminating the need to produce new content each time they wish to display it.
K-Sys is the only manufacturer of “fine-pitch LED displays” in Korea and a company equipped with world-class display production and supply infrastructure. Last year, it successfully installed and operated mammoth-sized displays at 15 locations during the Gyeongju APEC Summit. With this MOU with Bido as a starting point,
K-Sys aims to leap forward from a hardware manufacturer to a specialized provider of software (content)-integrated spatial solutions.

CEO Cheon Byung-min stated, “We are in the era of ultra-high-resolution displays. Just as much as the image quality of the display itself, the artistic level of the content filling it determines the sophistication of the space,” adding, “We will provide one-stop media art solutions that maximize spatial value through our collaboration with Bido.”
